Bulkhead Construction

There are two types of waterfront property owners – those with bulkheads, and those that lose a portion of their property every year to erosion. Bulkheads do more than just give you a place to tie up your boat or jet ski. They actively protect your property from erosion.

Not only does a bulkhead protect your property from literally washing away, it gives a great place to tie up a boat, sit outside with your feet in the water, a platform to fish from, and many more. If you are worried that building a bulkhead on your Mississippi coast property will prevent you from being able to get in and out of the water easily on your jet-ski or kayak, there are plenty of options available for soft docking them on the bulkhead or building in a docking station for them specifically.

Many bulkheads are built in conjunction with a pier, boathouse, or other options to allow you to get the best use from your property and water access. Feel free to discuss those options with us when you request your free estimate.

We build bulkheads along the entire Mississippi Coast, including Pascagoula, Ocean Springs, Moss Point, Gautier, Vancleave, Biloxi, Gulfport, Diamondhead, Long Beach, Pass Christian, and Bay St. Louis. When building your bulkhead, we can offer a myriad of options such as walkways, piers, lighting, freshwater, fish cleaning stations, etc.
